Pomeroi.com uses a secure payment gateway for the collection of your card details. All the information passed from the payment page is encrypted. We accept most debit cards plus Visa and Mastercard and the security of information on these is our highest priority. The Pomeroi website uses a secure payment gateway, Protx, which has been approved by our bank, HSBC, to facilitate and process internet transactions on our behalf.

The Protx payment system uses a combination of established and innovative techniques to ensure the security and integrity of all sensitive data. The transfer of the less sensitive transaction details from the Pomeroi site to Protox site is encrypted and digitally signed. This ensures that the information passed is secure and tamper-proof.
Protx was one of the first payment gateways in the UK to offer AVS (Address Verification) and CV2 (secure code) authentication protocols as part of the standard interface. They maintained this market leading approach by being one of the first to offer 3D secure, incorporating the standards for both Mastercard Securecode and Verified by Visa.
Protx internet facing web servers are certified by Verisign, this ensures that no third parties can impersonate Protx to obtain secure information.
All data stored on Protx systems is held on encrypted and highly secured databases. Protx are regularly audited by Visa and Mastercard to ensure that their systems conform to the latest security standards.

Pomeroi aim to crack down on credit card fraud. In addition to our payment gateway's security measures, orders with a different delivery address to the billing address will be assessed manually by separate procedures. This may delay the delivery time of your purchase.
